Katherine Eugenia Brissey Weaver, age 72, of Anderson, SC, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Linley Park Rehab and Healthcare Center.

Born August 18, 1951, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jimmy Brissey and Olga Campbell Brissey. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Mike Weaver, her second husband, John Kinard and a sister, Sandra Bonner.

She was a homemaker who loved going all out to surprise her family and preparing for family holidays. She enjoyed NASCAR and football, but treasured time with her family and her dog, Skippy, most of all.

She is survived by her son, Chad (Billie Ann) Weaver; grandson, Bryson Weaver and a sister, Lynn Thompson all of Anderson, SC.

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 11, 2024, from 11:00 am until 12:15 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 12:30 pm in the Chapel with Rev. Sam Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery.
