BEEBEAPRIL 28, 1929 - JanUARY 23, 2011TOWNVILLE, SC ' Katie Shaw Beebe, age 81, of 2015 Hattons Ford Road, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 23, 2011, at the Rainey Hospice House.Born April 28, 1929, in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Claude & Maude Todd Shaw. She was a graduate of Anderson Girl's High School and retired from the textiles industry. Mrs. Beebe was a faithful member of Oakdale Baptist Church where she was a longtime Sunday School Teacher. She was a passionate supporter of the Rocky Bottom Camp of the Blind.She is survived by her children: Danny Beebe and wife, Pam of Anderson, SC, Cathy Smith and husband, Alex of Williamston, SC, and Wallace Beebe of Seneca, SC; grandchildren: Dustin Beebe, Danielle Beebe Rhodes, Heather Gentry Osborne, Heath Gentry, Chase Beebe, and Kelsie Beebe; four great grandchildren: Noah & Lydia Rhodes, and Kobe & Alyssa Gentry; four step grandchildren: Jessica Williams, Zury McAlister, Garrin Fossum, and Colt Fossum; and three step great grandchildren: Taylor Williams, Kobe Shaw, and Zayne McAlister. She is also survived by two sisters: Sylvene Smith of Anderson, SC, and Thelma Ashley of Thompson, GA.Mrs. Beebe was predeceased by her parents, four brothers, seven sisters, and the father of her children, C.W. Beebe.The Funeral Service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, January 25, 2011, at Oakdale Baptist Church conducted by the Reverend David Blizzard and the Reverend David Walters. Burial will follow in the Double Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.The family is at the home of Alex & Cathy Smith, 103 Breazeale Drive, Williamston, and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home from 6pm until 8pm on Monday.
