KATIE LEE MC BRIDE January 30, 1923 - January 8, 2007 IVA, SCMrs. Katie Lee Miller McBride, age 83, of 632 East Broad Street, Iva, SC, wife of Paul V. McBride, Sr., died Monday, January 08, 2007 at Nancy Hart Health Care in Elberton, GA.Born in Campobello, SC on January 30, 1923, Mrs. McBride was a daughter of the late Robert Twitty Miller and Margaret Elizabeth Copeland Miller. She was retired from Bigelow Sanford, Rocky River Plant. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Iva and the T.E.L. Sunday School class. She enjoyed quilting and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.Survivors include her husband of sixty-seven years, Paul V. McBride, Sr., children, Shirley Sears and her husband, Jerryl of Winston-Salem, NC, Frances Carnes and her husband, Jimmy of Elberton, GA, Robert McBride and his wife Peggy of Elberton, GA, Paul McBride, Jr., and his wife, Judi of Iva, SC, Sammy McBride and his wife, Phoebe of Anderson, SC, Tony McBride and his wife, Teresa of Starr, SC, Danny McBride and his wife, Cindy of Iva, SC and Chad McBride and his wife, Teresa of Starr, SC. Also surviving are sixteen grandchildren respectively, Jerryl, Crystal, Nissa, Andrea, Tammy, Jamie, Stacey, Sandie, Dolan, Derek, Crystal, Mandi, Leigh, Kasie, Devan, Reece and seventeen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Marvin 'Max' Miller, Marie Hansen and Alton Miller.A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Iva City Cemetery officiated by the Reverend Jerry Gray.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.The family will be at their respective homes.Flowers are optional.
