BANNISTER February 5, 1928 - June5, 2006ANDERSON, SCMrs. Kayle Lenora Bannister, age 78, of 1502 Middleton Road, died Monday, June 5, 2006 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson.Born in Anderson, SC on February 5, 1928, Mrs. Bannister was a daughter of the late John Victor Wilson and Grace Burrows Wilson. She was employed with the Anderson Independent Mail from 1944 as a proof-reader and held various jobs including press photographer. She retired in 1996 as the Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of the newspaper. After her retirement, she continued her service to the Anderson Independent Mail and was currently the writer of 'Recollections'. She was of the Baptist Faith.Survivors include brothers, Rev. David A. Wilson and his wife, Carolyn of Bowersville, Georgia, Victor Michael Wilson and his wife, Marcella of Anderson and a sister, Barbee Smith and her husband, Lenn of Starr, SC.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Wilson and two sisters, Patricia Rochester and Johnnie Kernels.A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2006 at 5:00 pm in the Chapel for The McDougald Funeral Home with the Reverend David A.
