Kenneth Steven Wilson, age 67, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson County, SC, on October 26, 1948, he was the son of the late Arthur N. Wilson and the late Vurna Hayes Wilson. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam. Kenneth retired from Kemet Electronics after more than 20 years of service. He was a member of VFW, Vietnam Veteran's Association, and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his son, Col. James Steven Wilson, USAF and his wife Jackie, of Fairfax Station, VA; five brothers, Robert, Donald, Mike, and Danny Wilson and Andrew Smart; and three grandchildren, Jayde, Jamison, and Jackson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Wilson. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Friday, May 13, 2016 from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. with the funeral service with Military Honors beginning at 4:00 p.m. officiated by Reverend Sam Duncan. There will be a private committal at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veteran's Cemetery. The family will be at the home of Art Wilson, 227 Lewis Road, Williamston, SC 29697.
