He was a retired carpenter and was a world renowned coon hunter. Known as 'The Bird Man', he enjoyed raising exotic birds, dogs and other animals. He was a member of Word Tabernacle where his prayers lead his children to the Lord.He is survived by his children, Sharon Stephens and her husband, Glen of Easley, SC; Kenneth Jerry Beasley, Jr., of Honea Path, SC; Marvin Chad Beasley and his wife, Denise of Hendersonville, NC and Noah Kenneth Beasley and his wife, Alisha of Starr, SC; sister, Jean Arnold of Anderson; eight grandchildren, Joshua Wade Roper, Steven Kyle Richey, Ashley Nicole Beasley, Jessica Tori Beasley, Justin Tyler Beasley, Rebecca Lynn Marie Beasley, Emily Gail Beasley and Jacob Noah Beasley.He was predeceased by brothers, Bill, Houston and J. B. Beasley; sisters, Jo Ann Rumsey, Pat Heaton, Maxi Gentry and Virginia Hudgens.Visitation will be held at Word Tabernacle on Thursday, March 24, 2011 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm with the service beginning at 4:30.
