Kenneth "Chuck" Waymon Ford, 69, of Anderson, SC passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born October 23, 1949 in Anderson, SC, he was a son of the late Theron and Gertrude Cason Ford. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Griffin and brothers, David and Billy Ford. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was a recipient of a Purple Heart. He retired after 49 years of service from Duke Power as a Nuclear Maintenance Specialist and was a member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and hunting in his spare time. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Peggie Donald Ford; son, Jason Ford; brothers, Tommy Ford of Iva, SC and Herbert Ford of Alabama. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, the love of his heart, Rylee and Aliyala Ford. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm-2:30pm Thursday, January 31, 2019 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be in the chapel at 3:00pm Thursday with Rev. Mark Dickson officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with military honors.
