Kenneth Rufus Gibbs, age 74, of Anderson, SC, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021, at his home. Born April 20, 1947, in Anderson, he was a son of the late William Gibbs and Helen Patterson Gibbs. He as married to Janet Diane Osborne Gibbs until her death in 2019. Kenneth was a veteran of the United States Army and was retired from Kroger Bakery. He is survived by his son, Jeremiah Gibbs of Anderson, SC; daughter, Crystal Gibbs (Jason) of Anderson, SC; sister, Debbie Moore (Gary) of Williamston, SC; and four grandchildren, Tyler Suttles, Kayla Suttles, Blayden Gibbs, and Joshua Smith. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Gibbs. Private family services will be held.
