Kenneth Wayne Hyatt, age 80, of Greer, SC, passed away Monday, June 5, 2023, at Brushy Creek Post Acute. Born December 7, 1942, in Baltimore, MD, he was a son of the late Tyree Hyatt and Mae Masters Hyatt Scott. He was also preceded in death by his son, Christopher Tyree Hyatt; second wife, MiHoko "Kay" Fleming Hyatt; brother, Edward Hyatt; and niece Susan Hyatt Caiccio. Kenneth was a self-employed tool and die specialist who had the ability to fix almost anything. He was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and Clemson Tigers football and loved fishing. He loved his church family and Pastor Mark at Green Pond Baptist Church where he sang in the choir. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Hyatt Hutto (Louis "Tripp"); grandchildren, Logan Hutto Heimburger (Cory) and Louis "Hank" Hutto, IV; great grandchildren, Redden and Harry Heimburger; first wife, Darlene Dockins; brother, Steve Hyatt (Yvonne); nieces Stacey Hyatt and Kelly Hyatt Neely; and nephew, Greg Hyatt. The funeral service was held Monday, June 12, 2023, at Green Pond Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Mark Dickson followed by the burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
