Kenneth Martin Locke, age 77, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2016 at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Buel Thornton Locke and the late Macie Burton Locke. He proudly served his country for more than 30 years in the United States Navy and Navy Reserves. He retired from the United States Department of Agriculture in the Soil Conservation Department. Ken was a member of Concord Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Jane Seawright Locke, of the home; a son, Steve Locke and his wife Sharon, of Marietta, GA; a daughter, Jana Locke Price and her husband Ken, of Anderson, SC; a brother, Douglas Locke and his wife Andrea, of Anderson, SC; and six grandchildren, Andrew Price, Justin Price (Leann), Emily Anna Price, Fletcher Locke, Emma Locke, and Mary Locke. In addition he was preceded in death by his sister, Patsy Williamson. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 18, 2016, at 12:00 Noon in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Don Cox and Reverend Ralph Carter officiating. Interment will follow at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veteran's Cemetery.
