Holbrooks, age 46, of 206 Bowie Farm Road died on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.Born in Anderson on December 27, 1961, he was a son of the late Cortez 'Buddy' Holbrooks and Inez Head Holbrooks. Mr. Holbrooks was the owner and operator of Holbrooks Excavating, Inc.Survivors include his two sons: Justin 'Derrick' Holbrooks and wife, Stephanie R. Holbrooks and Joshua Cortez Holbrooks and wife, Whitney L. Holbrooks; grandchildren: Calla Susanne Holbrooks, Jacob Chandler Robinson, Macey Inez Holbrooks, Shiloh Makenzie Holbrooks, and Jessy Kenneth Holbrooks; his special & loved friend, Tonya Williams; his sisters: Odean H. Black, Beverly H. Wood, and Karen H. Williams; and his brothers: Dan Holbrooks, Bobby Holbrooks, and Tim Holbrooks.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin Holbrooks and Kenneth Holbrooks.A Graveside Service will be held at 10am on Saturday, July 26 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park conducted by the Reverend Sam Duncan and the Reverend Gary Bill.
