Oscar Keys Clamp, Jr., age 66, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2016 at his home. Born in York, SC, on October 13, 1950, he was the son of the late Oscar Keys "Bozo" Clamp, Sr. and Lucille Barnette "Bootsie" Clamp. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was a graduate of Pendleton High School, The South Carolina Police Academy, and the South Carolina Fire Academy. He retired from the Anderson City Police Department. Keys was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, and a very active member of the Zion Fire Department and Zion United Methodist Church. He will be sorely missed by the entire Zion Community. He is survived by his son, Robert William "Will" Clamp and his wife Melinda; his brother, Eddie Clamp; nephews, Andrew Clamp (Brianna) and Justin Clamp (Brandi); his grand nieces, Taylor and Sophie Clamp; a very special aunt, Thelma Jones; many cousins and "brothers and sisters in service"; as well as four very special grandpuppies. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Ferguson Clamp. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016, at 12:00 p.m. at Zion United Methodist Church with Reverend Beverly CroweTipton. Interment will follow at Zion Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Friday, December 9, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Members of the Zion Fire Department and Anderson City Police Department will serve as Honorary Escort.
