Kimberly Renee Jennings, age 49, of Laurens, SC, passed into Glory on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at her home. Born January 14, 1972 in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of Vicky Bryant Hillyard and the late Rodney Mike Buchanan. Renee was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Anderson. She is survived by her mother, Vicky Hillyard and step-father, Dave "Pops" Hillyard; children, Sarah Carroll (John), Jesse Jennings (Bayle), and Harley Jennings (Stephanie); brother, Rodney Buchanan (Tonya); step-brothers, Jeff Hillyard (Jesse) and Jamie Hillyard (Andrea); step-sisters, Jennifer Hillyard (Matt) and Jessica Hillyard; and 6 grandchildren. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Minor Lee Bryant and Doris Bryant; and her aunt and uncle, Ann Buchanan and Keith Buchanan. A memorial service will be held Friday, May 14, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Temple Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Hawkins officiating. The family will speak with guests immediately following the service.
