Kristie Ann Smith Westbrook, age 51, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024, at AnMed Medical Center.

Born December 21, 1972, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of Patricia Ann Stewart Williams (William Harrison) and the late Danny Ray Smith.

She was a schoolteacher at Flat Rock Elementary School and loved her job. Her coworkers were a part of her family. She worked hard for her family, was a loving mother, wife, daughter and Gigi. Kristie was an excellent cook. She had a heart of gold and always saw the best in everyone. She was such a bright light in the lives of those around her. She will be missed by so many.

In addition to her mother and stepfather, she is also survived by her husband of 34 years, Kevin Westbrook; son, Trevor Westbrook (Mariah); daughter, Amber Crowe (David); sister, Amanda Williams and one grandchild, Blakely.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, from 5-7 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 19, 2024, Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
