Kyle Deven Simpson, 23, of Iva, SC died on December 1st, 2015 at An-Med Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC. He was born on April 23rd, 1992 to Wanda Brown Elgin in Anderson and raised in the home of his grandparents, Douglas and Sue Brown. Kyle was an electrical contractor for Steely Electrical Service in Anderson and was a 2011 graduate of Crescent High School in Iva, SC where he was a member of the FFA. Kyle is survived by his mother: Wanda Brown Elgin of Starr, SC; his grandparents: Douglas and Sue Brown of Iva, SC; five brothers and sisters: Christopher and Cody Simpson of Iva, SC, Dustin Phillips of Starr, SC, Campbell Farrow of Iva, SC and Elizabeth Jarrard of Lowndesville, SC; 14 nieces and nephews that he loved dearly; his dog: Hank and his Cockatiel: Hooter. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 5th, 2015 at 12:30pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home in Anderson, SC with the Rev. Roger Kendricks officiating. Interment will follow in the Carswell Baptist Church Cemetery. The Simpson family will receive friends from 6-8:00pm on Friday evening, December 4th, 2015 at the funeral home.
