Bryant, age 91, formerly of Pope Drive and Magnolia Assisted Living, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at the Rainey Hospice House. He was the husband of the late Montez Smith Bryant.Born in Anderson, SC on June 13, 1917, he was a son of the late Frank Bryant and Della Daniel Bryant. Mr. Bryant retired from the textiles industry and was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church where he was a member of the Couples for Christ Sunday School Class and a former Deacon.Survivors include his children, Larry T. Bryant of Honea Path, Donnie R. Bryant and wife, Kay of Anderson, and Eddie F. Bryant and wife, Joyce of Anderson; sisters, Ruth Ridgeway, Audrey Kyzer, and Christine Williams all of Anderson; brothers, Gary Bryant and Raymond Bryant, both of Anderson; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Bryant was predeceased by four brothers: Robert, James, Ralph, and Alton Bryant.The Funeral Service will be at 3:30 pm on Sunday, November 2, 2008 at Oakwood Baptist Church, conducted by the Reverend Dr. Guy Roberts and the Reverend Mike Davis.
