Larry Charles Brooks, 71, of Anderson, SC, passed away, Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born, May 5, 1948 in Atlanta, GA, he was a son of the late Melvin Charles Brooks and Georgia Ann Harmon Brooks. Mr. Brooks was a graduate of White Plains High School. He was a Vietnam veteran having proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1967-1971 and was honorably discharged. He is survived by this wife, Jean Brooks of Anderson, SC; children, Sammy Brooks (Amy) and Candy Chapman (Reggie); four grandchildren, Kimber Limon (Josh), Megan and Hannah Chapman and Brodie Brooks; and one great-grandson, Daniel. The funeral service will be 1:00 pm Monday, July 22, 2019 at MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery with military honors presented by Campbell Patriots Post 184. The family will be at the residence.
