Larry Mack Crumley, age 81, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at his home.

Born January 2, 1943, in Commerce, GA, he was the son of the late General Meredith Crumley and Willie Walker Crumley. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Crumley Lowe.

Larry loved his family dearly and especially enjoyed family vacations. Yardwork, gardening and singing karaoke were among his favorite pastimes. He was also an avid bowler, having won many trophies.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Jean; daughters, Wendy Hunter, Kelly Luper (Brad) and Lari Vipperman (Danny) all of Anderson; sisters, Judy Ingram of Atlanta, GA, Delores Whitfield (Roger) and Gail Hunsinger (Edward) of Anderson, Kim Inman (Mike) of Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren, Jennifer Gurley (Chris) of Williamston, Whitney Phillips (Patrick) of Belton, Reid Johnson, Kevin Luper, Carson Luper, Nathan Vipperman, Blake Lowe and Colby Vipperman all of Anderson; and four great grandsons.

The family will receive friends at the McDougald Funeral Home on Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. The funeral service will follow in the McDougald Funeral Home Chapel at 11:30 am with the Rev. Edward Hunsinger officiating. Burial will follow at New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be at their respective homes.
