Larry Dacus Larry Allen Dacus, age 74, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2014 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson, SC, on August 6, 1940, he was the son of the late William Walker Dacus and the late Willie Mae Dutton Dacus. He worked in textiles for many years having worked at LaFrance Regal Textiles, Amvel Velvet, in Greenville, SC and JB Martin in Leesville, SC. He attended First Baptist Church of LaFrance. He is survived by his children, Glen Dacus and his wife Debbie of LaFrance. SC and Rodney Dacus and his wife Tonya, of LaFrance, SC; two brothers, Wilton and Grady Dacus, both of Pendleton; and four grandchildren, Brent, Debra, Jesse and Cheyanne Dacus. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Daisy Simpson Dacus; and a sister, Joyce Skelton. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Monday, November 24, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Albert Couch and Pastor Steve Parker officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Clemson.
