Larry Alvin Grant, age 74, husband of Carol Wetterman Grant, died October 27, 2018 at his residence. Born in Anderson, SC he was the son of the late Howard A. and Frances Campbell Grant. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Boys High School, class of 1962. He served in the United States Air Force from February 1964 until February 1968. He retired from construction as a pipe fitter and worked for Fluor Daniel and Greenwood Construction. In addition to his wife of 47 years, he is survived by two daughters, Tracy Grant Taylor (Chad) and Amy Elizabeth Grant. Two granddaughters, Emily Lauren Taylor and Anna Olivia Taylor. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 1:00 pm at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veteran's Cemetery with Rev. Mark Duncan, Rev. Rodney Harbin, and Rev. Ray Grant officiating. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Friday, prior to the service from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm. The family wishes to express their appreciation and gratitude to the staff of Caris Hospice, Cinda Woodard, Hunter Evans, Theresa Falloro, Amy Martin, Lashana Pickens, and Dr. R. Joglekar.
