Knight, age 84, husband of Juanita Smith Knight of 204 Ashley Avenue, Anderson, SC, died Monday, January 15, 2007 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC.Born in Drayton, SC on August 24, 1922, Mr. Knight was a son of the late Z. T. Knight and Faye Riddle Knight. He was a 1948 graduate of Clemson University receiving a B.A. in Mechanical Engineering. He also did post graduate work in Industrial Education at Clemson University. He retired in 1988 from Monsanto Company in Greenwood, SC as Senior Project Engineer. He was a member of Orrville Baptist Church for fifty-eight years and was a United States Navy World War II veteran. Survivors include his wife, Juanita Smith Knight of the home; daughters, Marsha K. Moorhead and her husband, Robert M. Moorhead of Westminster, SC and Myra K. Hart and her husband, Randy Hart of Anderson, SC; brother, Albert Knight of Drayton, SC; four grandchildren, Libby Galloway of Charleston, SC, Abby Crooks of Westminster, SC, Benjamin Moorhead of Seneca, SC and Leah Drake of Anderson, SC. Four great-grandchildren, Bradley and Kyler Moorhead, Jeb Crooks and Noah Galloway also survive.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Calvin and Jerry Knight.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Orrville Baptist Church officiated by Dr. Wendell Bannister.
