Larry Robert Lollis, age 74, of Anderson, entered his Heavenly Home on Sunday, July 9, 2017, upon his death at Rainey Hospice House, with his beloved family by his side. Born on January 10, 1943 in Piedmont, SC, he was the son of the late Robert Berry Lollis and the late Hazel Aiken Lollis. For nearly fifty-seven years he was the loving and devoted husband of the late Martha Ann Bannister Lollis until her death in 2016. Mr. Lollis attended Palmetto High School. He was employed for many years in the commercial construction business where he worked for Flour-Daniel Construction Company. Mr. Lollis attended Taylor Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mr. Lollis is survived by a son, the Reverend Dr. Brent Lollis and his wife, Alice, of Anderson; a daughter, Denise Ann Vaughn and her husband, Barry, of Lowndesville, SC; three grandchildren, Kia Carter, Daniel Frasier, and Noah Lollis. Also surviving are six great-grandchildren. A Graveside service to celebrate the life of Mr. Larry Lollis will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, with the Reverend Dr. Brent Lollis officiating. The Lollis family will receive friends following the service at Forest Lawn.
