SHAW August 18, 1924 - May 2, 2008ANDERSON, SCMrs. Laura Daniel Shaw, age 83, formerly of 800 Highway 29 South, wife of the late David Aaron Shaw, died Friday, May 02, 2008 at Willow Creek Living Center in Iva.Born in Royston, GA on August 18, 1924, Mrs. Shaw was a daughter of the late James Thomas Daniel and Obie Starr Daniel. She retired from Clark-Schwebel and was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church and the Golden Rule Sunday School class.Survivors include her sons: Ronnie Shaw and his wife, Linda; David Shaw and his wife, Sylvia; daughter; Shirley Henderson and her husband, Art, and Debbie Shaw, all of Anderson; brother, J. C. Daniel of Taylors; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by nine sisters, and two brothers and son-in-law, Bill Poore.The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2008 at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Dr. Glenn Taylor. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, May 3, 2008 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.The family will be at the residence.Flowers are optional.
