LAWRENCE KAISER September 28, 1939 - February 8, 2007ANDERSON, SCMr. Lawrence Kaiser, age 67, husband of Phyllis R. Kaiser, 1225 Salem Church Road, Anderson, SC, died Thursday, February 8, 2007 at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, SC.Born in Pickens County, SC on September 28, 1939, Mr. Kaiser was a son of the late Willie Kaiser and Beatrice Mauldin Kaiser. He was a retired Master Plumber for over 35 years. He was former past Exalted Ruler '95-99' of the Anderson Elk Lodge # 1206, was named Officer of the Year in 1999-2000. He was a member of the Hiram Masonic Lodge #68 and the Hejaz Shrine Temple. He was of the Baptist Faith.Survivors include his wife, Phyllis R. Kaiser of the home; daughters, Sybil Nix and her husband, Mike of Easley, SC, Diane McCord and her husband Chuck of Manning, SC, Kim Williams and her husband, Jeff of Raleigh, NC, step-daughters, Regina O'Brien and her husband, Elton of Dallas, TX and Donna Somera and her husband David of Anderson, SC; step-sons, Eddie Martin and his wife, Tracy of Lexington, NC and Mike Burton of Anderson, SC; brother, Sherwood L. Kaiser and his wife, Rhonda of Anderson, SC; sister, Mary Lou Cooley and her husband, Bob of Simpsonville, SC; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William F. Kaiser.The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2007 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by Reverend Jerry Parnell. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson, SC.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, February 11, 2007 from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.The family will be at 209 Keithwood Drive, Anderson, SC.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children, 950 W.
