'Fuzzy' Yeargin, Jr., passed away on December 30, 2009, at his home in Huntsville, AL.Lawrence was a native of Anderson and longtime resident of Greenville. He graduated from Anderson Boys' High School and attended Auburn University. Mr. Yeargin was a retired Sales Representative. He was an avid motor boater, sailor, water-skier, and outdoorsman. Above all, Fuzzy enjoyed making friendships abroad that led to a lifetime of wonderful memories.Survivors include his wife, Edith Yeargin, of the home; son, Lawrence W. Yeargin, III (Tripp) and wife, Stewart and their children: Will and Maribella of Greenville, SC; his sister, Betty Jackson of Greenville, SC, and her children: Tommy, Beaty, Rosemary, and Anna. He is also survived by Edith's children: Esther Martin, Cpl. Philip D. Martin, and Rachel Martin Smith and husband, Joel and their children: Abigail, Isaac, and Noah, all of Huntsville, AL.He was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence W. Yeargin, Sr., & Rosa Katherina Garrison Yeargin; and his brother, Donald Garrison Yeargin.The Funeral Service will be held at 3pm on Monday, January 4, 2010, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home, conducted by the Reverend Deborah Richardson Moore. A private committal service for the family will follow in New Silver Brook Cemetery.The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm on Monday, prior to the funeral service.
