LeAnn Poore Baxter Anderson, SC Sandy LeAnn Poore Baxter, age 34, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2015. Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of Charlie David Poore and Gayle Hanks Poore. She was a 1998 graduate of Westside and Carolina College of Hair Design. LeAnn was a stylist for several years, having most recently worked at J. Mikel's Salon. She was a loving and devoted mother to her son Cole. In addition to her parents, and son, Cole Fowler, she is survived by her sister, Katie Baxter and her husband Chad, and their children, Evey Kate and Charlie, all of Anderson; grandmothers, Christine Gordon, Frances Hanks, Edna Poore; and the father of her son, Jamey Fowler. She was preceded in death by her biological father, Ralph E. Gordon; grandfathers, Haskell Hanks, Ed Gordon, and David Poore; grandmother, Cofraizer Moss; and an uncle, Bruce Gordon The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Daniel Atkins officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the home of her parents, and will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Good Hope Baptist Church, 221 Good Hope Church Road, Iva, SC 29655.
