Leila Mae Cooley, age 90, passed away on December 13, 2014, at Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Benjamin Ivester and the late Drucy Alma Chapman Ivester. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by four children, Deborah Leigh Cooley, Jeanne Sanford, Tammy Renay Parrish and Claude Mark Cooley; three grandchildren, Jason Sanford, Taylor Parrish and Christine Marie Cooley; and two great-grandchildren, Jaliyah and Katie Sanford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Edward Cooley; a grandson, Nathan Glover; two brothers, R. A. and James Ivester; and a sister, Cleo Craft.
