LEO DONALDJULY 10, 1928 - OctoBER 5, 2007ANDERSON, SCMr. John Leo Donald, age 79, of Anderson passed away on Friday, October 5, 2007 at the AnMed Health Medical Center.Born on July 10, 1928 in Anderson, SC, Leo was a son of the late John Leo Donald, Sr. and Mabel Blakely Donald Hardman. He retired after forty-five years of service in textile management at the Anderson Mill. After retirement, he was employed as a custodian at Westside High School. He was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather, and friend.Mr. Donald was preceded in death by the love of his life ' his wife of forty-four years, the late Betty Conwell Donald. He is survived by their daughters: Peggie D. Ford and husband, Kenneth of Anderson, SC and Pollie D. Allen and husband, Reno also of Anderson, SC; his three grandchildren: Jason Ford, Zachary Allen, & Aaron Allen; his sister, Norma D. Moore of Florida; his special friend, Dot Free; and his loving dog, 'Lucky'.In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Donald was preceded in death by his two brothers, J.B. Donald and James Donald.The Funeral Service will be held at 3:30 pm on Sunday, October 7, 2007 in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Mark Dickson.
