Leon Harold Lollis, age 82, of Anderson, SC, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Rainey Hospice House. Born June 22, 1939, in Clearwater, FL, he was the son of the late Harold and Ann Mae Chasteen Lollis. He was married to Louise Bice Lollis until her death in November 2014. Leon was the owner of Lollis Builders and Gutter Service. He loved all types of racing and enjoyed fishing. He was a member Liar's Club and the mayor of Rocks Pond Campground in Eutawville, SC. He is survived by his daughter, Kathy Patterson (Roger) of Taylors, SC; brothers, Ronnie and Terry Lollis; sisters, Georgia Skelton, Norma Jean Cauley, Barbara Huff, and Michelle Mullinax; grandchildren, Rod Burton, April Valerio, and Josh Donald; great grandchildren, Chase Burton, Justin Robertson, Tanner Burton, Ryan Robertson, Dodger Owens, and Anna Belle Rollins; great-great grandchild, Braxton Burton; and special sister-in-law, Marlene Rizk. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Randy Donald; brothers, John Robert and Harrison Lollis; and sisters, Dorothy Hendrix, Jeanette Waldrop, Frances Erwin, and Jo Joyce Lollis. A graveside service will be held Monday, October 18, 2021, at 11:00 am at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Mr. Josh Donald officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service and ask that those attending, please wear jeans and a t-shirt or polo shirt.
