William Leonard Osborne, age 83, of Anderson, SC, husband to Eleanor Tinsley Osborne for 60 years, passed away on March, 12, 2022. Born March 12, 1939, in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Lev and Lula Belle Shore Osborne. Leonard was a well-known and respected used car dealer owning and operating Leonard Osborne Used Cars in Anderson for over 60 years. His goal was to have the cleanest and best used cars as possible. Leonard will be greatly missed by his many loved ones and friends and also be remembered by all for his unique sense of humor. He was a faithful member of Taylor Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brother, Harry Osborne (Evelyn); and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sons, Gregory Osborne, and Timothy Osborne; grandparents, Coleman and Jessie Osborne; brother, Billy Osborne; and sister, Mary Jewel Osborne. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 15, 2022, from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Taylor Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church. The funeral service will follow visitation at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Brent Lollis and Rev. Norman Craft officiating. Burial will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery.
