Townville, SC Leroy Eppes, age 84, of 122 Mystic Cove Lane, Townville, SC, husband of Betty Joyce Eppes, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015, at his home. Born on February 7, 1931, in Anderson County, he was the son of the late Richard Columbus Eppes and Clara Lee Irene Eppes. He was a retired builder and an avid gardener. He attended Oakdale Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three children, Theresa Ann Goovaerts of Maryland, Roy Colie Eppes and his wife Donna of Florida, and Michael Lee Eppes and his wife Angela of Townville; his grandchildren, Kim Goovaerts, Karl Goovaerts, Diana Goovaerts, Ryan Eppes, Megan Eppes, Joshua Eppes, Jeremy Eppes, and Landon Eppes; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Catherine Doris Davis and Cleo Louise Johnson; his brother, William Isaac Eppes; and his son-in-law Ervin Goovaerts. A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 27, 2015, at 3:00 PM at Greenville Memorial Gardens with the Reverend David Blizzard officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, April 27, 2015, from 12:00 noon until 1:00 PM. The family will be at the residence.
