Leroy Fields, age 77, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016 at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson, SC on November 1, 1938, he was the son of the late Wilton E. Fisher and the late Ethel Parnell Fields. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Leroy worked as a pipefitter for Daniel Construction for more than 35 years and worked for 10 years at Foundry and Steel. He was a member of the Boiling Springs Masonic Lodge and was of the Holiness faith. He is survived by his loving wife, Jean Jones Fields; children, Johnny Fields and his wife Laura, Deborah Bond, and Tony Allen, all of Anderson, SC; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 12:30 PM with Reverend Joe Whisnant officiating. Interment will follow at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veteran's Cemetery. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Tuesday, July26, 2016 from 11:00am until noon.
