Lewis Junior Stroud, 78, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at his residence. Born in Habersham, GA, on November 21, 1937, he was the son of the late Lewis Alex Stroud and the late Cleo Effie Mosley Stroud. Lewis began working in the roofing business in 1962, and began his own company later in life. He is survived by his long time angel and princess Katherine Rojas; sons, Mark J. Stroud and his wife Kimberley of Anderson, SC, Johnny R. Stroud and Lewis G. Stroud both of Iva, SC; brothers, Ralph Stroud of Hartwell, GA, Robert Stroud of Starr, NC and Paul Stroud of Anderson, SC; sisters, Montine Hammonds of Anderson, SC, Corabell Hanford of Hartwell, GA, Carree Finley of Lavonia, GA, Eunice Arnold and Edna Mae Gray both of Anderson, SC; and five grandchildren. The family will be at the home of his son, Mark Stroud, 1113 Travis Rd., Anderson, SC 29624, and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate at 1835 Rogers Rd., Anderson, SC 29621.
