Lewis Harvey Taylor, Jr., age 78, of Anderson, SC, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at his home. Born September 11, 1943, in Marion, VA, he was the son of the late Louis Harvey Taylor, Sr. and Etta May Hudgins Taylor. Harvey was a veteran of the United States Army and member of Vets Helping Vets. He was a "foodie" and enjoyed car shows. Harvey loved history and enjoyed watching the History channel. He is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Jo Lund Taylor; son, Steven Taylor (Romi) of Chesapeake, VA; daughter, Kimberly Moats (Rodney) of Anderson, SC; grandchildren, Sabrina Moats of Anderson, SC, Brendon Moats (Amber) of Ft. Campbell, KY, and Tristan Moats (Lacie) of Anderson, SC; great granddaughter, Emma Burcham and two great grandchildren on the way. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Laurie Lynn Taylor; and sister, Shirley Seymour. A memorial service will be held Friday, June 17, 2022, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Alvin Crooks officiating.
