She was a graduate of Anderson Junior College and retired from the Anderson Independent-Mail as secretary to the Publisher. Mrs. Boggs was a member of Eureka Baptist Church and the Young at Heart Sunday School Class.Survivors include her daughters: Brenda Sanders and husband, Richard of Anderson, SC, and Kim Higginbotham and husband, Larry of Chapin, SC; a brother, B.C. Cromer of Charlotte, NC; and four grandchildren: Nathan Sanders, Mark Sanders, Lewra Higginbotham, and Paul Higginbotham. She is also survived by a very special caregiver, Sally Wyatt.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband in 2006, Edgar Newton 'Ed' Boggs; two sisters: Ramah Cromer and Annie Johnston; and two brothers: Paul Cromer and Nevitt Cromer.The Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, October 18, 2010, at Eureka Baptist Church conducted by Dr. Ron Fousek and Reverend Robert Dickard.
