Elizabeth 'Libby' Turner Holbrooks, 65, of 123 Olivarri Drive, died Friday, June 12, 2009, at National Health Care in Anderson.Born in Anderson, SC on January 30, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Clyde C. Turner and Clarice Chambers Turner. She was a 1962 graduate of T.L. Hanna High School and was a homemaker. Mrs. Holbrooks was a member of Concord Baptist Church and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.Survivors include her husband, Dan H. Holbrooks of the home; a daughter, Lisa Bloom of Anderson; a son, Mike Holbrooks and wife, Sheron of Anderson; a brother, Roger Turner of Anderson; and five grandchildren: Allyson Brooke Bloom, Brandon Tyler Lowe, Alissa Danielle Bloom, Katelin Elizabeth Bloom, and Colby Regan Holbrooks.The Funeral Service will be held at 3pm on Monday, June 15, 2009, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Dr. Ron Culbertson and the Reverend Dr. Don R. Cox. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6pm until 8pm on Sunday, June 14, 2009.The family is at the residence.
