LILA CLARK September 20, 1948 - January 11, 2009ANDERSON, SCMrs. Lila Larson Clark, age 60, wife of Herbert Warren Clark of 240 Latham Drive, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2009 at the Rainey Hospice House.Born in Stamford, CT on September 20. 1948, Mrs. Clark was a daughter of Thyra Lindstrom Larson of Cromwell, CT and the late John Arnold Larson. She was a 1967 graduate of McMahon High School in Norwalk, CT and was a former employee of Nash Engineering with ten years of service. She worked with her husband's family business, Clark Roofing Company in Norwalk, CT until 1999 when the family moved to the Abbeville-Anderson, SC area. She was employed with Ingles Food Store in Abbeville for four years. She was a member of the United Covenant Church in Wilton, CT.Survivors include her husband, Herbert Warren Clark of the home; daughters, Jennifer Lynn Clark of Greenwood, Kristina Noel Clark of the home; mother, Thyra Larson of Cromwell, CT; sister, Carolyn Lippmann; and brothers, Douglas and John Larson.In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her daughter, Melissa Clark who passed away on January 3, 2009.A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Norwalk, CT.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.A message of condolence may be sent to the family by visitingwww.mcdougaldfuneralhome.comThe McDougald Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
