Born in Anderson, SC on December 18, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Elrod and Lila Ellison Elrod. She was a member of Whitefield Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, William A. Martin and his wife, Elizabeth and granddaughter, Cheyne Nicole Weston of Winter Park, FL.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, William N. Martin and her grandson, Kenneth Weston.The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Bill Ellison.
