Lila Bell Ethridge Bradley Thomas, 85, a resident of Linley Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2019 at Rainey Hospice House. Born January 7, 1934 in Hartwell, GA, Lila was a daughter of the late Joe Harley Ethridge and Artis Bell Hembree Ethridge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Dallas Lee Bradley; son, Danny Lee Bradley; brother, Billy Ethridge; and sister-in-law, Janie Ethridge. Lila worked for the Singer Corporation for over 10 years, and for Olan Mills for 15 years. She enjoyed watching racing at Anderson Speedway, collecting dolls along with antiques, and was known for her sense of humor. She was of the Church of God faith. Lila is survived by her husband William Ralph Thomas; daughters, Linda Jo Davis (Keith), Cheryl Rena Bradley, and Lynn B. Millwood (Scott), all of Anderson, SC; brothers, Doyle Ethridge and Loyd Ethridge, both of Hartwell, GA, and Jimmy Ethridge of Panama City, FL; sisters, Ruth Martin and Joyce Wright, both of Hartwell, GA; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., Friday, July 5, 2019 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3:30 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Tom Haren officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the home of Jo Davis, 103 Tiger Ln., Anderson, SC or Lynn Millwood, 2201 Rolling Green Rd., Anderson, SC.
