Lillian Anna Curran Latham, age 84, passed away on Saturday, November 7th, 2015, at The Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, SC. Born in Newark, NJ on September 29th, 1931, she was the daughter of the late John Curran and the late Lillian Fulton Curran. She graduated from Netcong High School in New Jersey. After moving to Anderson, SC, she graduated from the Anderson School of Nursing, with a LPN degree. Lillian had worked for many years at The Anderson Memorial Hospital and later retired from the Latham Nursing Home. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was at one time president of the Woman's Club and received the Volunteer of the Year award. She also was involved many years with Meals on Wheels. She is survived by her loving husband, Rudolph Latham; her children, Shari Latham Herndon and her husband Eddie of Anderson, SC, Lucy Latham Corley and her husband Scott of Columbia, SC, Rudolph James Latham and his wife Donna of Anderson, SC and Gregory Daniel Latham and his wife Denise of Anderson, SC; brother, Robert Curran of Columbus, NC; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Latham will be held on Tuesday, November 10th, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson, SC with Brother Henry Fulmer OFM officiating. A prayer vigil will be held Monday, November 9th, at 6:00 p.m. at The McDougald Funeral Home followed by a time of visitation until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church at 200 Cornelia Rd, Anderson, SC 29621 or The Rainey Hospice House at 1835 Rogers Rd., Anderson, SC 29621.
