Lillian Arlene Patterson Parham, age 89, of Williamston, SC, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born October 20, 1931 in Walhalla, SC, she was the daughter of the late Melvin Sylvester Patterson and Early Mae Woodall Patterson. She was married to the late Gerald Columbus Parham. Lillian spent many years in the textile industry retiring from Mt. Vernon Mill. Following her retirement, she worked for Anderson School District One from which she also retired. Lillian loved the outdoors, working in her yard, and animals of all kinds. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her sons, Randy Parham (Betty) of Belton, SC, and Shaun Parham (Ashley) of Williamston, SC; daughters, Carol Whitfield of Belton, SC, Sheila Lance of Anderson, SC, and Peggy Webb (Rick) of Anderson, SC; 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Johnny, Jeremy and Timmy Parham; and several brothers and sisters. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 13, 2021, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Old Silver Brook Cemetery.
