Linda Gail Bonner, age 76, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024, at Cottingham Hospice House.

Born October 7, 1948, in Middleton, GA, she was the daughter of the late Henry Stiles Willis and Mary Mildred Haggerty Evans. She was also preceded in death by her husband, David L. "Pete" Bonner, whom she was married to for 28 years until his death in 2003.

She and her husband owned and operated a Texaco convenience store in Anderson for many years. Linda was also a cosmetologist and loved gardening, sewing, art, drawing, and shopping. Most of all, Linda found joy in family and loved all of her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Robert E. Lewis, Jr. of Anderson; daughter, Angela L. "Angie" Bowman (Vance) of Six Mile; stepson, Tommy David Bonner of Myrtle Beach; stepdaughters, Marilyn Y. "Susie" Mitchell and Terri C. Powell both of Belton; and grandchildren, Gavin and Grayson Bowman both of Six Mile.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 27, 2024, from 1:30-2:45 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 pm in the Chapel with Rev. Dwight Greene officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The family will be at their respective homes.
