Linda Ann Tippens Christiansen, age 78, widow of the late Harold George Christiansen, of Anderson, SC went to be with her Heavenly Father and her loved ones on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Arlon Dee Tippens and Annie Mae Sadler Tippens. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Jo Neil Tippens Bowen of Tampa, FL. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was an elementary teacher in the South Carolina Public Schools and retired teacher from Anderson School District 5. She was member of First Baptist Church of Anderson, SC, The Wednesday Noon Bible Study and the Golden Age of First Baptist. The Services for Mrs. Christiansen will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Saturday, August 1, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Jim Thomason officiating. Interment will follow at Reed Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Hartwell, GA.
