Linda Faye Adams Estes, 84, of Honea Path, SC, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, SC. Linda was born on March 21, 1939, in Anderson, SC, to the late Dewey and Edith Philyaw Adams. After the passing of her mother when she was a baby, Linda was raised by her mom, Alice Velma Brown Adams. Linda attended and graduated from Anderson Girls High. She then married the love of her life, James Howard Estes. She was a homemaker, and together she and James raised three children. Linda was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, James; daughter, Sandy Hayes (Jack) of Belton, SC; sons, Bradley Estes of Anderson, SC and Rusty Estes (Michelle) of Honea Path, SC; grandchildren, Kristin Youngblood (Daniel), Amanda Parnell (Trent), Elizabeth Martin (David), Emily Estes and Austin Estes; and 8 great grandchildren. Linda was predeceased in death by her parents; brothers, E.C. and Bob Adams; and sister, Martha Culbertson. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023, at 11:00 am, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Andersons, SC.
