LINDA I. GIBSONAugust 21, 1943 - January 27, 2012WESTMINSTER, SCLinda Irene Gibson, age 68, of 616 Little Choestoea Road, Westminster, SC, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012 at Oconee Medical Center.Born in Gallipolis, OH, Mrs. Gibson was a daughter of the late William Max Burrows and the late Eddrie Leoda Long Burrows. She was a homemaker and enjoyed most her role as grandmother to all of her precious grandchildren. Mrs. Gibson was a faithful member of Tabernacle of the Lord in Townville and she loved the Lord with all her heart. She was very unselfish and always lived for others.Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Charles Edward Gibson, Sr.; sons, Charles E. Gibson, Jr. (JoAnn) of Melbourne, FL, David Anthony Gibson of Westminster, SC, and Luke Gibson, Sr. (Lisa) of Westminster, SC; daughters, Susan Whitehead (Bruce) of Westminster, SC, Marcie Velie (Nick) of Westminster, SC and Tammy Ingram (Edward) of Palm Bay, FL; brothers, Woodrow Burrows (Irene) of Melbourne, FL, Leonard Burrows (Lucille) of Belleview, FL, Donald Burrows (Debbie), Ronald Burrows (Karri), Alvin Burrows (Paula), and Roger Burrows (Pat) all of Palm Bay, FL; sisters, Marce Parsons (Robert) of Palm Bay, FL and Clara Combs of Charleston, WV; 23 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, William, Lawrence, Walter and Cline Burrows. A service Honoring the Life of Mrs. Gibson will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 2:00 pm at The Tabernacle of the Lord in Townville with Reverends Luke Gibson and Bruce Whitehead officiating. Interment will follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens, Westminster, SC.
