Linda B. Giles, age 83, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025, at her home.

Born September 27, 1941, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Edith Nicholson Rice. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents who raised her, P.R. and Maude Nicholson; and two stepfathers, Bill Burns and Ray Rice.

Linda was a graduate of Girls High and Forrest Junior College. She was a secretary with Owens Corning Fiberglass retiring after 35 years. She was instrumental in developing and marketing "1-800-OCF Helpline" for which she received numerous awards and recognition. She was able to travel and attend trade shows to represent the "OCF Helpline". She was a master gardener, an avid runner, and loved traveling with her husband. Linda was very skilled at cooking. She also enjoyed listening to bluegrass music. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 61 years, Ty Giles; and her caregiver of 10 years and best friend, Sue Ann Pickens.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
