Linda Carol Saylors Grant, age 76, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2016, at her residence. Born on July 15, 1940, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late J. Allen Saylors and the late Susie Mae Lewis Saylors. Linda worked for Abney Mills/Southside, Ryobi, and SAS Shoe Manufacturing. She enjoyed visiting shut-ins and nursing homes. Linda was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church for more than 60 years and the Alathian Sunday School Class. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Harold K. Grant; a daughter Elaine Mack (Sandy), of Anderson, SC; one grandchild, Christopher Mack; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Clark Grant; and a brother, Jim Saylors. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Oakwood Baptist Church with Reverends, Neal Prock, Russ Baun, Michael Jones & Dr. Charles Holland officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
