Linda Louise Williams Kinley, age 78, of Anderson, SC, woke up in the arms of Jesus away on Monday, January 13, 2025.

Born May 7, 1946, in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of the late J.W. Williams and Annie Ruth Aldrich Williams. She was married to the love of her life Chevis Lee Kinley until his death in 2023. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Boggs; a granddaughter, Kayla Boggs; brothers, Donnie, Steve, and Terry Williams; sister, Barbara Rice; nephew, Richard Williams; and niece, Angel Rice. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Linda loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Though she was small in stature, she had a larger-than-life personality. She loved to play golf with her husband, going to yard sales with family, and going to the beach. She was an avid Clemson Tigers fan and also enjoyed watching golf and NASCAR.  She was a school bus driver for over 20 years and loved her job. She was a member of House of Prayer. Linda will be missed by so many who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children, John Higgins (Sheri), Mark Higgins (Samara), Alicia Higgins Thompson, and Donna Redd; son-in-law, Lane Boggs; special sister-in-law, Judy Williams; 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and special nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rodney Cobb officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
