The McDougald Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 2211 North Main Street Anderson, South Carolina 29621 864-224-4343 OBITUARY: LINDA MCMULLAN JULY 15, 1943 - FEBRUARY 1, 2013 IVA, SC Linda Joyce Hopkins McMullan, age 69 of Iva, wife of Tommy Dale McMullan, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2013 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Honea Path, SC she was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin "B.F." Hopkins and the late Ella Ruth Johnson Hopkins. Mrs. McMullan graduated in 1961 from Honea Path High School and had also attended Forrest College. She was retired from Anderson School District #3 as a cafeteria manager for Starr - Iva Middle School for 13 years; she was a member of Union Baptist Church and a member of the Homemakers Sunday School Class. In addition to her father and husband, she is survived by two daughters, Patti Kelley and her husband Tim, of Iva and Kim Latham and her husband Glenn, of Iva; six grandchildren, Megan, Makayla, and Torry Kelley, Madison, Malerie and Emery Latham; one great-grandchild, Wyatt McCall; several brother and sister in law; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Union Baptist Church, with the Reverend Mike McMillion and Mike Price officiating. Interment will following in the Garden of Memories in Belton. Mrs. McMullan will be placed in the church at 1:00 pm. The family will be at the home of her daughter Kim Latham, 5709 Flat Rock Road, Iva and will receive friends at the Union Baptist Church on Sunday, February 3, 2013 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Union Baptist Church, Building Fund, 703 Barnes Station Road, Iva SC 29655.
