Sarah Linda Holcomb Moon, age 78, of Anderson, SC, loving wife to the late Joe Cleveland Moon, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, April 9, 2021, at Rainey Hospice House. Born November 30, 1942, in Colbert, GA, she was the daughter of the late Jeff Spencer Holcomb and the late Sara Rebecca Little Holcomb. Linda graduated from Madison County High School in Georgia, where she was a member of the Girls Basketball Team who proudly won the Georgia State Championship. She worked as the office manager at her family's business, Moon's Tile Company in Anderson, SC. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Joe Keith Moon (Lisa) of Anderson, SC, Randall Cleveland Moon of Anderson, SC, and Deborah Moon Watkins (Jeff) of Kannapolis, NC; brother, Steve Allen Holcomb of Carlton, GA; five grandchildren, Dustin, Todd, Taylor, Will, and Cole; and four great-grandchildren, Kylie, Olivia, Hudson, and Beauford. In addition to her parents, and husband, Joe, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Harold Spencer Holcomb and Bill Holcomb; and sister, Pat Watkins. Friends may pay their respects and sign the guest register on Monday, April 12, 2021, at The McDougald Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 12, at 2:00 p.m. at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Reverend Dr. Glenn Taylor officiating.
